Moi je préfère un livre avec une traduction bien faite. GW devrait être capable de le faire mais n’en donne pas les moyens à ses traducteurs (car je ne croient pas que ces derniers se satisfassent d’un travail aussi bâclé).

J’avais hésité dans mon premier message et j’ai quand même fait la remarque que cette boîte n’était pas très «Battle». En fait, c’est l’anniversaire de la marque «Warhammer». Marque qui est née avec Battle, mais qui n’a été formalisée comme telle que depuis quelques années (depuis le renommage des boutiques en «Warhammer» et depuis la création du logo Warhammer [le marteau ailé]). Ça rend le truc un peu confus. Surtout qu’on sait désormais que TOW ne sortira que l’année prochaine (certainement repoussé ceci-dit), les 40 ans de Battle auront finalement été bien mal honorés.

Non, pas vraiment. Surtout pour des archers.

Et pourtant ils montraient cela en avril: C’est bizarre car ceux avec l’ancien schéma de couleurs sont sur socle de 50x75 tandis que ceux avec le nouveau schéma de couleurs semblent être sur des socles carrés (en tout cas, sur celui qu’on voit).

Globalement, ils la maîtrisent. Il y a ce contre-exemple pour la boîte de base TOW, mais il est bien seul. Oui c’est ce que je voulais dire. Je corrige, merci

Ce n’est pas juste qu’ils le montrent. Dans le live et l’article, ils disent bien que cette figurine sera reprise (en résine FW). Donc oui, rien à attendre de nouveau pour lui, sûr et certains.

Battle Standard Bearer on Pegasus Bretonnian armies frequently march to war under the banner of their realm, a massive flag that embodies the glory of their lord. We’ve revealed one on foot, one on horse, and completing the trio is a Battle Standard Bearer on Pegasus. Knights of the Realm on Foot What does a knight do when they are called upon to protect the realm, but their noble steed is having its hooves reshod? Slog into battle on foot, naturally, beautifully represented by this diverse kit of heavily armoured warriors who can be equipped with two-handed great weapons or swords and shields. This kit is exceptionally flexible as the heads and arms can be used on any torso, so you can add oodles of character to each noble Knight. These arms and heads also present an opportunity for you to spruce up any returning Knights. Speaking of which… Four beloved regiment kits are meanwhile returning to the fray. Pegasus Knights The richest and most influential knights may have a shot at owning a battle-trained pegasus, the ultimate status symbol in the Kingdom of Bretonnia. These airborne cavaliers are swift and deadly combatants that are perfect for tackling exposed flanks. Knights of the Realm Much like their on-foot brethren the Knights of the Realm are minor nobles, often from the extended family of a baron or duke. They enthusiastically charge into battle bearing their lord’s heraldry, which means lance formations are back – and they’re good! This kit can also build the impetuous Knights Errant. Men-at-Arms Serving the Lord of the Realm in battle is a great honour, and Men-at-Arms are militia trained by the noble households, ready to give their lives in support of the knights, often accompanied by pious monks who have dedicated themselves to the Lady of the Lake. Peasant Bowmen The noble families aren’t numerous enough to maintain a standing army, so the peasants of the realm are pressed into service. Peasant Bowmen are canny shots with their longbows, and have the good sense to bring defensive stakes with them to defend them from charges. These regiments and other future regiments are returning in boxes that contain enough plastic miniatures to make a full regiment, not just a rank or two. With the Peasant Bowmen box, you’ll be able to build a unit of 32 archers, complete with a command group and Defensive Stakes. So dreams of creating massive armies of ranked-up troops will be well within your grasp. As revealed previously, there are also a selection of brand new resin characters, including one you haven’t seen before. Handmaiden of the Lady Magic in Bretonnia is the preserve of the women, who as children are abducted by the Fay Enchantress and taken to the Otherworld. When they return, they are trained into powerful sorceresses who can smite their foes and bless their allies with little more than a simple gesture. Previously revealed this year are the Battle Standard Bearer on Foot, Questing Knight Paladin with Great Weapon, and the positively radiant Lady Élisse Duchaard. They will all be available at launch, or shortly after, in resin Field Trebuchet Last but not least, add siege engines to your Kingdom of Bretonnia army with this returning kit which does one thing very well – slinging massive hunks of stone into enemy regiments with devastating effect. It has been remastered as a Forge World resin kit – a lot of work went into ensuring a beautifully crisp casting. Alongside these new and returning kits which form the bulk (or entirety) of your force, there will also be a selection of returning metal heroes and specialist units that will be available to order direct from games-workshop.com. Now the phrase “at launch” has been used a lot, and we are delighted to be able to confirm that Warhammer: The Old World will be released in early 2024. Le dragon est magnifique : la pose, les barbiches sur les côtes de ses mâchoires inférieures, les plis de ses ailes. En revanche, je suis moins convaincus par Belthanos. Il semble juste «posé» sur son scarabée. Mais sa pose me rappelle une version d’Orion.

Les ombres ne montrent jamais toutes les figurines. Mais c’est vrai qu’on semble reconnaître pas mal de bretonniens.

Pour rappel (puisque ce n’est pas la première fois depuis quelques jours). Merci S’il n’y a rien ici concernant de nouvelles unités Pyrotueurs, c’est qu’il n’y a aucune rumeur car elles sont rapidement relayées ici.

Normalement le «lining» (ou «surlignage», c’est l’inverse : faire une ligne sombre pour démarquer deux zones. Ce n’est que plus tard qu’il a pris (aussi bien en français qu’en anglais) la définition d’éclaircissement.

Ce n’est pas une «très grosse sortie» (à peine 4 boîtes de figurines). C’est plutôt de l’ordre d’une sortie moyenne, comme les Sylvaneth il y a quelques mois. Une très grosse sortie, c’est plutôt la dernière vague pour les Esclaves de Ténèbres, les Seraphons ou les Cités de Sigmar.

Il y a un fichier Excel accessible sur lequel il y a le prix de vente conseillé (PVC) et un autre plus bas (à vue de nez 55% du PVC). Le document indique également que les revendeurs peuvent vendre à un prix inférieur, égal ou supérieur au PVC. Il y en a très peu quand même : Aeronautica Imperialis et Adeptus Titanicus de mémoire (je mets de coté les jeux vendus uniquement dans les boutiques américaines). Pour les autres, il y a eu une traduction sur un temps donné plus ou moins long (pas uniquement les règles de base).

Elles n’y sont pas forcément toutes, mais leur disposition (pour celles qui y sont) est la même que pour l’étoile à 8 branches du Chaos. Quant à la fumée «pas très chaos», je ne vois pas non plus. Il y en a plusieurs, notamment des Sorciers, qui en possèdent.

Ils ont pourtant déjà dit qu’il y aura a minima des règles pour toutes les armées V8. Oui, on peut imaginer que le suivi ne sera pas le même que pour les armées traitées dans TOW, mais ce sera jouable.

C’est chaotique ça : l’étoile à la base de la lame, le bout de manche plein de petites pointes, la forme de la lame elle-même.

Deux armées dont GW a dit qu’elles n’étaient pas prévues avant des années, voire pas encore pour le moment Mais FW n’est plus l’entreprise d’antan qui faisait ses trucs en parallèle de GW, dans son coin. Actuellement, sa gamme complète celle de GW sur des figurines précises (champions de Blood Bowl par exemple). Ça reste(ra) à confirmer pour TOW, mais je ne les vois plus procéder comme ils le faisaient auparavant.

Prix, oui et non. Les prix GW on bien rattrapés ceux de FW pour du gars à pied (voir les champions pour Blood Bowl). Mais dès que ça «grossit» un peu, les prix s’envolent plus vite chez FW. Mais il y a aussi la disponibilité puisque la résine (chez FW) n’est disponible que chez FW, et donc sans les rabais possibles des boutiques (on en revient au prix). Pour des personnages ça peut encore passer, mais sur des unités entières, beaucoup moins (mais pour le moment, ils n’ont montré que des personnages pour la résine). Après, ça peut être aussi toutes les options qu’il peut y avoir sur les grappes plastiques, même si ça ne reste qu’un choix de conception de les proposer ou non pour la résine. Mais on voit rarement (jamais ?) autant d’options sur les résines. Une figurine comme le dernier Prince Démon avec toutes les options pour chaque dieu/universel, version fantasy/40k et les options génériques (avec ou sans ailes, armes), ça coûterait certainement deux blindes (une pour la figurine de base et une autre pour les options ).
