Oui ils sont compris dans le prix. Et visiblement c'est un terminal spécial pour le Styrix et un pour le Magaera. Je m'attendais a ce qu'on puisse les mixer. J'ai commandé deux de chaque on vera bien.

The Cerastus Knight-Atrapos – Hunt Titans in the Horus Heresy

 

 

There’s a new class of Imperial Knight coming your way for Adeptus Titanicus – and it’ll leave Princeps everywhere shaking in their amniotic tanks. Meet the Cerastus Knight-Atrapos.

Imperial Knights are a crucial part of many Adeptus Titanicus battlegroups. They provide support to the mighty Battle Titans that form the core of your force, and in numbers, they’re great for downing void shields and posing a threat to smaller Titans, like Warhounds. The larger god-machines tend to laugh off a Knight’s attentions – but they won’t be laughing at the Knight-Atrapos.

The Knight-Atrapos was created solely to destroy hereteks and xenos, armed with weapons that could devastate unholy war engines in the Omnissiah’s name. When the Horus Heresy dawned, the Knight-Atrapos came into its own as an instrument of Knight Households that could threaten even the largest Titans with its graviton singularity cannon.

This fearsome cannon takes the graviton weaponry used by the Mechanicus and the Legiones Astartes and makes it bigger and badder. A Strength of 6 and 3” Blast means units of smaller foes will be torn apart, and not even the thick armour of Battle Titans will be proof against such force. The Concussive trait will also leave Titans in disarray – easy pickings for the other big guns in your battlegroup.

Cerastus Knights-Atrapos in pure Knight Household armies (using the rules from the Doom of Molech expansion) will be even more fearsome, as they can use the Coordinated Strike order to increase the Strength of a graviton singularity cannon blast up to 10, at the cost of only firing a single shot per banner. This is risky, but the Knight-Atrapos’ Macro-extinction Protocols mitigate that gamble by letting the Knight re-roll a hit roll of 1 against enemies of Scale 7 and greater – which includes all Titans bigger than a Warhound!

Up close, the Atrapos lascutter that the Knight-Atrapos wields is every bit as dangerous as its gun. It also boasts a Strength of 6, with 2 attack dice, and a handy +1 to hit that pairs nicely with the Macro-extinction Protocols. The Fusion trait means it rolls a D10 rather than a D6 for the Armour roll, and the ability to choose a target location on the enemy Titan, thanks to the Melee trait, means the Knight-Atrapos can always go for the weak point in its foe’s defences. With a speed of 12”, you’ll have a good chance of getting into range to use it as well.

Of course, all that power is no good if your Knights are going to be blasted off the table by a Warlord Titan before they can engage. Handily, the Knight-Atrapos is blessed by the Machine God with some formidable defences too. 5 Structure points and ion shields that improve the more Knights are in the banner (making a full banner of four a really good idea) are bolstered by a pair of rules you might recognise from some other Knights we looked at recently.

The ionic flare shield the Knights boast reduces the Strength of incoming Blast attacks, which has the added benefit of improving the effectiveness of their ion shield save. In addition, when they are damaged, Knight-Atrapos banners can recover Structure points in the Damage Control phase, keeping them in the fight for longer. With their lethal weapons, even one more turn of attacking could be just what you need to claim that vital Engine Kill!

En juillet mon revendeur indépendant m'avait parlé d'un genre de battleforce pour AT, basée sur des knights, un peu comme celle sortie l'an dernier à la même époque.

Lui n'a plus eu de nouvelles en ce sens, mais est-ce que quelqu'un a entendu parler de ça aussi ?

The name Legio Ignatum has gone down in history as one of the most celebrated Legions of the Adeptus Titanicus. Today, Engine Kill is taking a look at all of the buzz around the Titan Legion also known as the Fire Wasps. 

Born on Mars

The Legio Ignatum was one of the three originating Titan Legions of Mars, along with the Legios Mortis and Tempestus. The three enjoyed a friendly rivalry until Fabricator General Kelbor-Hal threw in his lot with the treacherous Warmaster.*

The Fire Wasps broke free from his grip, and they remained steadfastly loyal to the Imperium throughout the ensuing civil war.

The Binary Succession

Following the schism on Mars, Fabricator General Kane and the loyalists within the Mechanicum found themselves dismissed time and again by the Council of Terra, leaving the political status of the Tech-Priests extremely ambiguous.

The so-called binary succession was resolved when the Imperator Titan Magnificum Incendius marched on the Great Chamber of the Council of Terra, which resulted in the creation of the Adeptus Mechanicus and the Adeptus Titanicus. If that doesn’t make your council sit up and take notice, we don’t know what will.

The Chair recognises the delegate from Mars.

The Cataclysm of Iron

In the region known as the Belt of Iron, the Horus Heresy brought many long-held grudges to the surface. Realising how crucial the forge worlds in the area were to both sides in the conflict, the loyalists deployed several Titan Legions, including the Fire Wasps.

In recognition of their status as one of the original Martian Legions, they were given command of every battlefield that they fought on.** They were at the brutal forefront in much of the action on the forge world of Urdesh. Once the Loyalists had carried out the Emperor’s judgement against the Traitors on Urdesh, the Regent left Titans from the Legio Ignatum to stand guard over the planet.

The Siege of Terra

Legio Ignatum defended the Imperial Palace on Terra, taking part in both the war in the webway and the Siege of Terra itself.*** When Horus arrived in the Segmentum Solar, the Fire Wasps renewed their bitter rivalry with Legio Mortis and their traitor Titans.****

The Legio would continue to add to their legacy in the years following the Horus Heresy, but those are tales for another time.

Je me posais également la question. 

Il manque la cathédral dirait certain mais personnellement je n’aime pas du tout le vieux design de l’impérator qu’on voit sur les couverture des livres. 

Alors si il sorte une figurine et en profite pour revoir le design je serai vraiment ravi !

J’y ai penser mais ça me parait bizarre qu’une « sous classe » de titan apparaisse dans la preview de l’année à coté des gros jeux de GW.
On parle quand même de AT une petite gamme à moitié sur Forge world. 

C’est pour ça que je me dit que c’est pas impossible que ce soit quelque chose d’aussi iconique que l’Imperator.

L'arrondi de la carapace me fait penser au Nemesis Warbringer, avec les canons AA sur le côté, mais d'autres choses ne collent pas, comme les plaques de blindages sur le torse, et l'arme droite qui semblerait être un plasma annihilator revamp. Ca serait cool un imperator/warmonger, mais je penche plus pour une variante de warbringer.

Si cela devait être un emperor class, la cathédrale sur le dos ne collerait vraiment pas avec 30K, il faudrait plus voir un ensemble de bunkers (comme la conversion ici : https://1d4chan.org/images/c/c7/Warmonger_titan.png ), et prier qu'il soit à l'échelle (l'imperator d'Epic était à peine plus grand qu'un warlord)

Impossible non, effectivement. Le design "connu" de l'Imperator date maintenant et comme Loishy je serai un bonne refonte, après tout les titans actuels sont assez différents de leur design qui date de la même époque. 

 

D'un point de vue purement personnel, je préfèrerai un titan de taille "raisonnable", je vois mois d'intérêt tactique à voir débarquer un classe Emperor.

C'est pas faux, mais il ne faut pas oublier que l'Imperator avec sa cathédrale n'est qu'une variante de la classe Emperor. Ca pourrait effectivement être un Warmonger (qui existait à Epic) comme sur la conversion montré, ou une nouvelle variante inédite !

Effectivement, le "pagne" en quinconce semble inspirée l'illustration citée. En tout cas la hype est là j'ai vraiment hate de découvrir la bête (particulièrement ou elle se situe sur l'échelle de taille) surtout après avoir pu enfin faire une première partie d'AT

Oui c'est pour ca qu'on parle d'inspiration uniquement. De toute façon l'illustration souffre du poids des ages et ne colle plus vraiment à l'esthétique actuel.

Pour le coup je te rejoint sur les therme employé. "inspiration" est bien le bon mot dans le cas d'adeptus titanicus new génération. 

Le nouveau look des reavers et warlord sont clairement identifiable/inspiré par rapport aux models des année 80 mais dans le détail l'architecture est complètement différente.

Donc oui le nouveaux fera certainement penser à l'artwork sans en être un bête copié coller...
