Rumeurs Adepticon

En Belgique c'est simple les magasins hors nourriture et pharmacie sont fermés les week-end à partir de ce soir minuit. Idem pour tout les événements publics et privés (par exemple la salle louée pour l'anniversaire de ma fille ne peut plus nous accueillir).

AdeptiCon Cancelled

As we’re sure many of you have heard by now, in light of growing concerns around COVID-19, AdeptiCon 2020 has been cancelled.

AdeptiCon is one of the largest and longest-running miniatures events in the world and, over the past 18 years, has become one of the cornerstone events of the Warhammer calendar. Many Warhammer hobbyists build their year around their attendance – planning armies, creating incredible displays and preparing their models for painting competitions. And so, as you can imagine, this decision wasn’t taken lightly. Despite its size, AdeptiCon has always maintained a close-knit, familial feel. The health and wellbeing of its attendees, volunteers and partners are paramount to the organisers, and it was with this in mind that they decided to suspend the event for this year. Regrettably, this also means that the return of Golden Demon to America will be delayed.

Despite this sad news, the Warhammer community is full of hope and support. The reaction to AdeptiCon’s announcement has been rousing and heartwarming in equal measure. We spoke with the organisers this morning, and in the face of everything, the outpouring of support online has kept a smile on their faces. They’ve asked us to extend their thanks to all of you for once again reminding us that we’re part of the very best of hobby communities.

We’ve no doubt that AdeptiCon will bounce back, and we’ll be right alongside them over the next 12 months as they plan for bigger and better in 2021. We’ll also be working with them to make sure that everyone who was signed up to come to the Warhammer Preview event still gets the goodies we had planned for them…

If you’ve got any questions about AdeptiCon, hit them up over on their Facebook page.

In the meantime…

We’ve no idea how this virus will continue to play out on the global stage and what restrictions it will put on the rest of the Warhammer events calendar this year  (we hope to have more news on Warhammer Fest and Warhammer World events soon*). So just in case, we’re going to bring you a series of online events and reveals.

To kick things off, we’ll be bringing you two online preview events within the next three weeks! And so that as many of you as possible can tune in and enjoy a first look at future releases and ask our Studio folks that question you’ve always wanted to ask, we’re holding them at times that should mean you’re up and awake regardless of where you are in the world.

Mark your calendars now, and join us on these dates, right here on warhammer-community.com

Saturday the 28th of March – 2:00 pm GMT

Saturday the 4th of April – 2:00 pm GMT

These are going to be some of the biggest preview events we’ve held to date – you won’t want to miss them!

Il n'y a plus rien à dire en R&N.

On ferme.

Et on attend le 28.
