Matt's a busy guy! He dropped the following update on the gw-

warmaster Yahoo! Group earlier today, giving us all a little hope for

the immediate future:

Next few months - remainder of the Daemon stuff

early 2005 The Battle of Five Armies

August 2005 Armies book

October-December 2005 Araby

Early 2006 some Beastman Units

Then throughout 2006 Ogres, Hobgoblins and other Mercenary types. If

we can get them to cast, probably even Pikemen...

No Wood Elves on the schedule.

Why weren't all the Daemons released before Storm of Chaos? It's a

huge range, far too big to have them all produced in the relatively

limited time we had ahead of Storm of Chaos. Our long range planning

is getting better these days, but we worked to fairly short deadlines

back then, and the Daemons are an absolutely huge range, mostly due

to the fact we have to do the same unit types for four different

powers.

Is trial stuff available?

Not publicly, but as the studio develops new stuff, in this case

Ogres, it's circulated to the rest of us, so our plans are based upon

the Warhammer developments.
